Malango 1045

Innovative, fun and seafriendly

Malango 1045 is an unique cruise sailboat, innovative and welcoming, fun and decidedly marine, unsinkable, designed for a demanding owner ... The project was decided during Grand Pavois de La Rochelle 2012 and was proposed as a model at the Salon Nautique de PARIS 2012. Malango 1045 is a Malango 999 with an extension hull of 46 cm. The extension hull allow a more convenient access to sea, improve longitudinal stability, and increase speed around half a knot. Malango 1045 is proposed in twin keels or swinging keel.

Hull and deck in vacuum infusion method
White hull is sandwich construction (GRP + foam) with local areas moulded reinforcements to strenghten the structure.

Teck covered cockpit seats (option), 2 lockers, engine control lever, manual bildge pump, cold water cockpit shower.
2 polyester rudders linked with one helm.
Fore Cabin accomodation :
Triangular double berth,
1 hatch (40 cm)
Saloon accomodation :
Symetrical layout with two straight settees (2m x 0,52m) - folding wood table with storage, 1 hatch in roof.
Table chart on starboard side with space for instruments, 10 switches 12 V electrical panel protected with breakers.
2 x 100 l moulded water tank under the settees.
Galley accomodation :
Galley on portside with laminate work top and moulded wood fiddles, stainless steel sink
Two burners gaz hob, 40L top opening insulated GRP icebox, Stainless steel stove with igniter.
Fridge transformable icebox capacity of 56 liters.
Toilet accomodation :
Isolated toilet compartiment : GRP washbassin, marine toilet
locker for bathroom accessories - one opening hatch.
Aft Cabin accomodation :
Isolated cabin with 200*140 berth - one opening hatch.
Motor - Electricity :
Yanmard 3YM20 - 20cv tri-cylinders with shaft transmission. Fuel tank capacity 60 l.
Engine compartment with foam soundproofing with 3 hatches for accessibility (each side and front)
Two 100 amp service and engine battery, 10 switches 12 V electrical panel protected with breakers (table chart) 3 LED ramps (1 fore cabin, 2 saloon, 4 LED spots (2 galley, 2 table chart), 2 LED lights (1 toilet, 1 aft cabin).

Rigging :
Closed stainless steel pulpit, two sheathead stainless steel guardrails with four stainless steel stanchions each side.
Two stainless steel pushpit at aft end of cockpit. Stainless steel fittings,jib and mainsail tracks, two triple jammers, sticks Spinlock.
Harken self tailing winches as followed : 2 halyards winches (30), 2 sheets winches (40).
6 aluminium mooring cleats.
Spars :
SELDEN Anodised aluminium mast 3,5kg deck-stepped with double large pushing spreaders.
Anodised aluminium boom with 3 reefing lines.
Security :
Electrical bilge pump in motor compartment.
Manual bilge pump in the cockpit.
2 compas in the cockpit.
Swinging keel :
Electro-hydraulic powered cast iron swinging keel.
